Chris Wilson, Water Treatment Manager
Chris Wilson oversees the Joint Water Commission (JWC) Water Treatment Plant, the largest conventional treatment plant in Oregon. The Water Treatment Plant operates 365 days a year, 24 hours a day, and produces an average of 32 Million Gallons a Day (MGD) for over 365,000 Washington County customers. During the summer, production can double to as much as 68 MGD.

The JWC Water Treatment Plant and facilities are operated and maintained by 18 full-time employees. There are ten certified operators, six of which are Level IV – the highest level of certification in the State of Oregon.
